I Need to buy a laptop, I am planning to buy a Dell model laptop that is reliable, lightweight, DURABLE and endurable, that has fast access to the internet. I need this laptop for trigonometric calculations, my own VB programme developments, and mostly for internet reasearch and
internet access.
But sir, i've got a limited budget, how about a pentium M processor, 1 Gb Ram, 80-120 HD, DVD writer, how much this will cost. on the hardware side i don't know more than this,
please tell me what this processor can do and is it worth.
I am in India, please suggest me a model that sells around 500-700 or a little more in USA, Sir, would it be wise to go for Dell in India...will it be durable and complaint free, here we see one new brand every one or two months.

You have made the best choice with model but the specifications which you mentioned in your question will not satisfy your needs.
Dell products are good for programming, Browsing the internet, ...
I have a Dell Laptop too.Sometimes I do not turn it off for 72 hours and nothing happens during this period.

I offer you Dell Laptops for some reasons:
1.They are powerful(Both the CPU and the Graphics card)
2.Dell is the biggest company manufacturing Computers
3.Dell's Laptops are very strong. Some of them do not get scratched at all.
4.Dell's Laptop prices are normal.Not too expensive and not too cheap.
5.If you play with them even 24 hours a day, you won't feel any difference in speed.
Dell's Laptops are classified into 4 groups:
1.Inspiron:This model is made for Home&Office use.It can satisfy all your needs for daily normal activities.They are good for multimedia and gaming.They usually cost around 800$.
2.Lattitude:This model is made for industrial use.Its body is very strong.Its features are somehow the same as Insprion.Their price starts from around 1200$.
3.XPS:This model is excellent for multimedia, gaming and professional use. Dell has an XPS M2010 which is fantastic. It has a 512MB Graphics card, 20.1" LCD, Subwoofer, 8 Speakers, 2GB of RAM and many other amazing features.It costs around 3500$.
3.Precious:Dell has released this model last year.This model is something between Inspiron and XPS model.Their price starts from 1000$.
Among all these Laptops, I offer you Inspiron E1505(Also called Inspiron 6400) which costs around 749$ in USA and it is very good for Gaming and Multimedia use.
