Question I need to buy a laptop for college but I want a good one. I like those convertible tablet ones, but I also like to play games like Battlefield and what not every once in a while. I'm not a huge gamer or anything, but I do play those a good amount. I don't want a big gamer laptop and I just don't know what kind I should get. Can I get good graphics and be able to game good on a tablet pc? Thanks.
Answer There are only two tablet pc's that are made my brand names that i would recommend to someone. they are both made by HP and one is for the home/home office user and one is for the small business user.
i wanted one for a long time, but determined that it wasn't worth the extra $$ and the lacking of features..
Just keep in mind that it only comes with an integrated graphics card, which is not replaceable. The graphics card does not have any memory itself, but will borrow some from the rest of your computer when you are playing games. I would highly recommend getting 2 GB of RAM on this computer to compensate.
The small business version of this computer is a lot more expensive and comes with the same integrated graphics card.
I'm afraid that if you want to get a high quality Tablet PC, you'll have to sacrifice gaming capability.
Other brand names do make Tablet PC's, but because they are not known for producing quality laptops, I do not recommend them for people to buy.
