Question My question is which brand (laptop manufacturer) makes good quality laptops.
hp,toshiba,sony vaio,gateway,and vaio
I compare the hp and dell,and found that dell has lower price than hp.But is it worth getting a dell or hp in terms of quality
Answer In the US:
Dell has the best quality laptops, the best customer service/warranty, and the best value.
HP has the second best in terms of quality but their warranty is not as good (you have to ship it in for repairs, where with Dell, a tech comes to you).
Sony also as the at home service warranty, like Dell, but their laptops are very overpriced.
You will get an excellent computer if you choose Dell and I can help you customize it and try to get it for the best deal. Just let me know your budget and what you use it for.
I could go really into detail about why I said what I said, but I'd probably bore you. I wrote a 400 page thesis on the quality of computer manufacturers :) so just trust what I say because I just spent a few years researching this exact topic.
In terms of the rest of the computer brand names out there... none of them are per say bad... just others are a much better value, of a better quality, better known, more popular, and have better warranty services (which is super important with a laptop).
