Answer Hi Danny,
First, Happy upcoming Birthday! 21 is sure a big milestone.
Now, I can't help you with Strip Clubs as I'm a woman, and it's not my bag. Here's a web site that might help: http://www.jackcolton.com/
You can check under the Bachelor Party section.
Hotels? Your brother is right, many young people and celebrities go to the Palms. Across the street from the Palms is the Rio, which men seem to enjoy more than women for their cocktail "bevertainers". Other popular hotels are Hard Rock (also not on the Strip, but only one long block away), and on the Strip, the Planet Hollywood, Mandalay Bay (best pool around) Luxor, and MGM Grand also are popular. We were at the Wynn recently and I saw tons of young women in cocktail dresses............don't know if anything special was going on, but there seemed to be a couple of bars that are very popular. Caesar's is an oldie, but still popular.
Good drinking spots, not clubs, on the Strip seem to be Margaritaville at the Flamingo, Carnival Court at Harrahs, and Kahunaville at the TI. If you are into Country, try Toby Keiths "I Love this Bar and Grill" at Harrahs. That website I sent you should also have information about bars.
October can be iffy, depending on what area of the country you are coming from, it could be warm or chilly. A light jacket for evening is always welcome at that time of year, and a swim suit, in case you feel like swimming. Most hotels have at least one heated pool open year round.
I hope I helped a bit, and that you have a wonderful birthday. If you need further information, please feel free to write back, or write to one of the men on the Las Vegas section of AllExperts. They may be able to help you with specific clubs, etc.
