Question Hiya! This will be the first time my boyfriend and I will be visiting Las Vegas. At first I was hesitant about going to Las Vegas, cause I want a really romantic trip and I thought that Las Vegas might me to chincy of a place with all it's feather clad ladies and such... Since then I have done some reading up and found a few things that sound really romantic to do there. I've heard about the Gondola ride, and the view of Ballagio's fountain and Eiffel Towel. I also know there are plenty of spas there, but I want more romantic ideas. Also, I heard about a "romantic package" that gave 2 tickets to Madame Tussaud, 2 tickets for the gondola ride, and 2 tickets for a meal, all for $54.00.. but I don't know where they sell that package. Where can I get that package and please give me some more romantic tip ideas.
Thanks so much!
Aimee
Answer Hi Aimee,
Well Vegas can be a romantic place if that’s what you want it to be ;-) I have to say that I can not see the attraction of the Gondola rides as romantic you have people walking down the sidewalk next to you the whole time and inside at least everything echoes, but each to their own I guess. I think that this is the package you are talking about, http://www.alllasvegastours.com/Body.asp?tour=LAS-CMB03&page=TourDetails I don’t know what All Vegas Tours are like but I have no reason to think that they are not reputable.
Other romantic things you MUST eat at the Eiffel Tower its amazing, have a dink at the fireside lounge at the Peppermill just South of the Riviera. Have a spa package for two suggest that you go to Ritz Carlton at Lake Las Vegas for this. Fleur De Lys at Mandalay Bay is a lovely romantic restaurant. If you have a car you can drive of to say Valley of Fire or Mount Charleston and watch the sun go down this is so cool
