Question
I'm going to vegas for a tournament at the end of june and ill be 20...so what is there to do in vegas if you over 18? and doesnt cost a ton of money, any clubs, hot spots, or anything you would recomend?

Answer
Hi Jeff,
Like so many places, there is a real dearth of activities for your age group here.  You are not allowed to gamble or drink, which so many people come to Las Vegas for, anyway.
There are arcades in almost all of the hotels, movie theaters in some, roller coasters at the New York, New York, the Sahara, and in the Adventuredome at Circus Circus.  That is a completely enclosed amusement park.  There are virtual reality rides at the Excaliber, as well as a neat show featuring knights jousting on horseback, along with a no utensils dinner.  There are variety shows at the theatre at the shopping area at Planet Hollywood.  It's always fun to souvenir shop at the Forum Shops at Caesars.  You can take a gondola ride at the Venetian.  I'm sending you a website that has many activites listed and a list of upcoming shows, just in case one of your favorites is appearing while you are here.

There are a couple of things I think you'd really enjoy.  The Cirque d'Soleil shows "Ka", "O", and "Mystere" are really wonderful to see.  If you like magic, Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo has a great show.  If you like car racing at all, there is a really cool virtual auto racing attraction at the Sahara. You "drive" what look like real race cars, and have your choice of racing a Speedway track or a Grand Prix through Las Vegas.  The screens sort of surround the cars.  At the end of the race you get printous of how fast "your" car was going, what place you were in, and where you finished overall.
I hope I have given you some ideas, and that you will write back if you have other questions.
Have a GREAT trip, and good luck in your tournament.
