Las Vegas - Will having a Palazzo suite help me get into club Tao?

Expert: Tom - 6/19/2008

Question
Hi there, I'm going to Vegas for the 4th of July weekend, and I've booked a suite in the Palazzo.  Will I be able to get any free passes for Tao since I'm staying there?  Or, as a last resort, will they be able to introduce me to a concierge that can take care of all that.  If I have to go with the latter, do you have any idea what it will cost?

Answer
Hey Davuth,

Generally speaking, having a room at any of the Venetian properties does not give you any advantage for gaining access to Tao. Tao is independently operated separately from Venetian, and aside from general concierge service, Venetian is not really able to grant access to Tao. That said, anything is possible in Las Vegas for the right price.

If you are a high roller and you booked your suite at Palazzo through a casino host, then perhaps that host would be able to pull some strings for you and put you on a guest list,
or get you VIP access. Sorry the news isn't better, but there are some things you can do to help get inside more quickly.

Arrive early. Be there when they open, or even before.
Find  passes for "front of line". Cabbies, curb barkers and upscale clothing stores will have passes for the taking that will put you in the "shorter line".

Get on the ClubPlanet.com or NapkinNights.com guestlist online. It does about the same service as having a paper pass.

Buy bottle service. Call the club or speak to a host before you arrive and purchase a table and one bottle of liquor for every four people in your group. Its very expensive, but you won't have to wait in line.

Grease the bouncer. Depending on how crowded it is, see if you can walk up to the short line and give the bouncer $100. Ask how long to get your group inside. He'll pull you in after a while.

Check out jackcolton.com for more great information on how to get inside Vegas clubs quickly.

Hope that helps!
Let me know if you have any other questions.
