Las Vegas - Long stay in Vegas

Expert: Tom - 8/16/2008

Question
Hello, I would like to visit vegas for like 2-3 weeks. I am going with my girlfriend. We do not have to stay at the strip. We need the cheapest hotel, but without rats etc. Clean, we dont need kitchen, we have no pets. Pool would be good.Good bus connection to the strip is excellent.

Answer
Andrew,

You might look into some of the extended stay properties around Vegas that specialize in multi-week visitors. Places like Homestead Suites, Candlewood Suites, Emerald Suites and Extended Stay America. These places will have some of the amenities of home, and can save money in the long run, for example a washing machine, refrigerator, etc. Things a cheap motel wouldn't have.

If you do want a hotel, try investigating these places:

Terrible's Casino
Orleans
South Point
Gold Coast
Riveria
Main Street Station
Palace Station
Las Vegas Club

Try punching some of those places into a search engine for your dates, and see what you come up with.

Hope that helps!
Tom
