So Im looking for a place to stay that's on the cheaper side but close to all the action and is going to attract young people that like to have fun. Also some place that is just a great place to spend a birthday. Im also tryin to find some stuff to do during the day and must see sights..  Any suggestions?

Answer
Rachael,

The best hotels in Vegas for a 21st birthday bash would be Hard Rock Hotel, Palms and Planet Hollywood. But, their rooms can be fairly expensive, especially on popular weekends.

Depending on how much you want to spend on your room, here are some less expensive alternatives that would still be action-packed with people your age:

NY-NY Hotel:

Golden Nugget:

Rio:

Flamingo:

Luxor:

Sahara:

All those hotels will have moderate rates but still provide all the fun and excitement you're looking for. Most of them have their own nightclubs, or are right next to a hotel that does!

For fun daytime activities, my first recommendation would be to hang out at some of the popular pools in town. But if your birthday falls before April, then it will probably be too cold for the pool. So instead, I'd investigate some of the malls up and down the strip, like the Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood, Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace and Canal Shoppes at Venetian.

Also check out all the attractions up and down the strip, like the Eiffel Tower at Paris, Flamingo Gardens at Flamingo, Erupting Volcano at Mirage, Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay and the Pirate Battle at Treasure Island. If you can spend your days touring the strip and seeing all the shops and attractions, you'll find plenty of things you'll want to do and plenty of ways to fill your time.

Write back if you have any other questions, and have a blast on your birthday!
