Question
Hi and thanks in advance
I am attending a conference at The Venetian and am not planning to stay there.  I am choosing between staying at Circus Circus and Imperial Palace.  IP is closer, but CC seems nicer.  I am happy to walk as I am used to walking.  Would it be easy to walk from Circus Circus? Is there a shuttle bus ??  Our sessions start at 8am for 3 days

Answer
Ingrid,

To be honest, neither the IP or CC are very nice hotels. I can't really recommend either one. Both are pretty worn down.

If you're looking for affordable accommodations near Venetian, I'd recommend
Sahara http://www.saharavegas.com/
Las Vegas Hilton: http://www.lvhilton.com/
Riveria http://www.rivierahotel.com/

Each of those hotels would be within walking distance or a short bus ride down the strip. There is a city bus called the deuce that runs up and down the strip every 30 minutes for just a few dollars per ride.

Check out those hotels to see if their rates are comparable. I think you'd be happier at any of those.
