Question
Sir, My father has under gone for catract surgery before two months.  All was well and he was perfectly able to see everything easily.  but from last three - four days he is facing from the lower vision problem and from yesterday he  is completely unable to see any thing.  I am very much in distress what to do.  We show him to Dr. who operated him but he is saying everything is fine.  please help me.

Answer
Dear Aman,

Thank you for your query. You will need to show your father immediately to an eye doctor to make sure that it is not something to do with a retinal problem or an issue which may need immediate intervention.

I can only urge you to see an eye doctor soon as possible this requires urgent attention. You can let me know what the doctor diagnoses for further guidance.

If in Mumbai we would be very happy to assist.

Thank you,
Regards,
Dr Anand Shroff, MS (OPHTH), FICS
