Question dear doctor i have recently come to know that there is a surgery available in Russia and Europe that carry out surgeries that alter the eye color by burning the pigment in your eye with laser and many people have go on to have this surgery i am extremely interested in having this done will it be possible for you to pass on my details to these practices so i can have this done thank you very much and god bless you
Answer Dear Anil,
These are in very experimental stages with no implications on long term complications and not recommended by me. Personally in my experience I have not come across any doctor doing this nor any patient who has undergone it. I would not believe everything on the net alone. It needs to be substantiated with reliable data.
It would be safer to use coloured lenses.
