Laser Eye Surgery - Lasik

Expert: Dr.Manu C.Rajnani - 5/8/2008

Question
I have lasik to my right eye for the second time 8 days ago.  The first surgery was 3 months ago. Double vision is a side effect for me both times, especially this last time but in a different field or axis.  The fist time characters were doubled on a y axis and the second time on the x axis. I am a 41 year old Chiropractor and in great health.  There is no doubt double vision  is a side effect of this surgery.  Is there hope this side effect will go away with time?

Answer
Dear KIMBERLY,
Thanks for asking such elaborate and interesting question

WELL double vision is never a problem after LASIK procedure unless you have cylindrical powers remaining so if you can give me exact power before surgery  and after 1 1st surgery and before 2 ND surgery and after 2 ND surgery i will be able to guide you better an also your corneal thickness measurements pre and post both the surgeries

If you any further questions please revert back to me
Thanking you
