Question QUESTION: My LE has a squint at 30Deg and i have a power of +3.00, the squint is moving away towards my left. I have a sight power of 6/60. I can read only the first sentence of the eye testing board with glasses on. My age is 20 years. Can my vision be corrected. Even if the squint is not corrected in the first go i do not mind.

QUESTION: Thank you very much for your reply, my left eye is characterised as lazy eye by the doctor. He has seen my photographs from childhood till date. On seeing it he says that initially it was inward squint and now it is outward squint. Between three and eight years of age the power of the left eye was + 6.00 and the right eye was +1.00, I was wearing glasses to compensate but consistency was not there, however the current power is +3.00 in left eye and nil in the right eye.Hence the doctor has been saying that i have not utilized my left eye fully resulting in the current stage.I request you to kindly inform me whether this can be corrected.

2 ND stage you require squint correction
unless both eyes power is equal i.e. zero you will not improve
