Question I am going to have my 4th surgery on my left eye for double vision. I had the mono surgery, no problems with reading at all or seeing in the distance with my left eye except for the double vision. Can this be corrected and do people go through repeated eye surgeries like this to try and correct this problem? Can the double vision be corrected with repeated surgeries. I am starting to get scared that this will never be corrected and want to know if there is hope that this will ever be corrected.
Answer Dear Esther,
It is not at all advisable to undergo repeated eye surgeries on a delicate tissue like the cornea.
Please arrange to send your Topography maps and any eye report to suggest what exactly is found medically.
