i recently got my eyes tested for lasik.my power is 6.75 in left eye and 6.5 in right eye.they said my corneal thickness is 509 so zyoptics is not a better option as it might leave a residual power after the surgery.the doctor suggests intralase is the best option which costs RS 1 lak!
i want to know if this is right as the cost of intralase is too high and i can afford zyoptics..

WELL with 509 corneal thickness you can very well undergo LASIK with any machine with either 110 micron flap so simple lasik will definitely do wonders for you

1. a friend of mine is suggesting LASEK for my corneal thickness of 509 rather than intralase. she says intralase is not worth the money and does almost the same job as LASEK at lesser price ? your comments please on this...

Correct what your friend said is absolutely correct but since your power is 6 and above LASIK is best alternative because lasek sometimes has associated corneal haze problems and also mild pain and discomfort post operative and if your measurements fit in LASIK that is best alternative
