Question DOCTOR I HAD MONOVISION SURGERY 3 WEEKS AGOFOR NEAR DISTANCE, NOW
MY FAR DISTANCE IS OUT OF FOCUS ,IT IS NORMAL? CAN I USE CONTACT LENS
NOW, O THIS STOP MY HEALING PROCESS? I ONLY HAVE IN MY RIGHT EYE
SURGERY. DO I NEED ENHACEMENT? IT,S OVERCORRECTION? I,M DESESPERATE.
Answer Dear Ana,
Give it time to heal. Monovision means deliberately keeping a number in one eye, which means that eye will be out of focus for far work. You should not close one eye and check each eyes vision independently. Give yourself time to get adjusted to monovision if you were not a monovision user of lenses before.
Also, in the worst case scenario, you can always get a retreatment to fine tune the monovision to having crisp vision for far, which would then mean needing glasses for near.
