I am Aparna.K from Hyderabad, age 34. I do have an eyesight of -5 in both right and left eye respectively. I did check for LASIK and they said my corneal thickness was on the borderline at Apollo Hospitals, Jubli Hills, Hyderabad by Dr. Bansal(Ophthalmology) and after doing the surgery I may still have the sight up to -1 and it may or may not get to zero, so I want to know if there is any advance technology with which I can get back my eye sight to zero. Please suggest me where should I get it treated for LASIK in Hyderabad. If not, Dr. Agarwal Hospital in Chennai would be the best place or should I come to Mumbai and get it treated there. Will you provide any accommodation there and what would be the cost of the surgery for both eyes. Pls kindly suggest me where can I get it treated. Please provide me with your contact number, so that I can have a clear clarification about the test.

We would be very happy to see you in our hospital, just as we have helped others from your city, we can also help you with accomodation.
The laser that we use can treat numbers upto -14.00 D.
However, this also depends on your corneal thickness and other factors of your eye. If you know the thickness of your cornea (Pachymetry), you can e mail this to safalashroff@lasikindia.in along with any other eye reports that you may have like Topography maps etc.
There have been many patients that we have treated which other laser centres could not, and this is primarily because of the advanced technology we are using.
Advantages of our technology
Ø Accuracy of treatment since we use the fastest laser - takes 1/5th the time that other lasers take for similar numbers hence better patient compliance
Ø Precision, even if your eyes move during treatment- as this laser has the Fastest Eye Tracker, which tracks your eye at 500 times a second
Ø Faster healing and visual recovery
Ø Saves upto 40% corneal tissue as compared to most lasers hence able to treat higher numbers much safer.
Ø Due to corneal savings we can treat patients which other centers cannot who otherwise on other lasers would have been left with a residual error (number)
Ø Most lasers have between -5.00 D and -7.00D as their upper limit of treatment hence higher chances of residual errors in spite of LASIK with such older technology. Our upper limit is -14.00D with far more safety as compared to other lasers
