Question MY DAUGHTER IS HAVING SQUINT PROBLEM SINCE BIRTH AND NOW SHE IS 6 YEARS. WE ARE VERY SERIOUSLY LOOKING OUT FOR THE SOLUTION OF THIS PROBLEM , BUT DAYS PASSED OUT TAKING ADVICES FROM DIFFERENT DOCTERS , WE WERE SATISFIED FROM ALMOST ALL THE DOCTERS BUT ONLY TO TAKE BETTER WE WENT FOR OTHER DOCTER. ALMOST ALL THE DOCTERS INFORMED US TO PUT PATCH / GLASSES AND FOR EYE EXERCISE SO THAT SHE MAY IMPROVE SOME SIGHT AND LATER SURGEY CAN BE DONE , BECAUSE ONCE SURGERY IS DONE PARENTS MIGHT BE CARELESS FOR ENCOURAGING OR FOLLOWING UP WITH THE KID FOR EYE EXOERCISE AS THE EYES WILL OK , BUT EXERCISE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR IMPROVING EYE VISION. NOW WE TRIED TOO MUCH BUT WE FALED OT GET THE EYE PATCHING DONE ON REGULAR BASIS, SO PLEASE ADVICE THE BEST DOCTER + HOSPITAL WHERE WE CAN DO THE YE SURGERY AND ALSO ADVICE IF LASER SURGEY CAN BE DONE.

I can understand your concern. Firstly, do not worry. This is a very common problem.
LASIK or any laser treatment is not advisable in childhood but only after the physical growth is complete so that there are no changing numbers, however this is only for the numbers and not for the squint.
Until then, your child needs to be cajoled into wearing the glasses regularly and patching the eye if necessary as advised, so as to not compromise the lines of sight or vision or develop a lazy or amblyopic eye while growing up.
