Question
Dear Dr. Rajnani,
I am a working individual, aged 35 yrs. In my childhood I did not have a squint but it developed after I took glasses at the age of 15 yrs. My glass power in right eye is -2.75 and left eye is -3. If I bring the two eyeballs in straight line, then the vision of the eyes become hazy otherwise with the slight squint, I have good vision.
Recently, I got through in an interview but have been asked by the company to get my squint surgery done before joining.
I would like to know if there is any problem in getting the surgery done, is there any chance of my eyesight getting worse after the surgery or anything going wrong after the surgery ? What is the success rate of such squint surgeries ? Since I am not aware of anything regarding this subject, I would sincerely request you to kindly guide me in this.

Since you had not worn glasses earlier on one of your eyes had become weaker thus causing squint formation, but there is very simple solution not only your eyes will look normal and straight after squint surgery but your vision also should be maintained in better way since success rate with squint surgery is very high provided your other parameters are all normal so it is mandatory once you have complete check up i can guide you completely
