Question
My father is aged 67 years and was diagnosed with macular edima.He is not a diabetic patient.Doctors said there is no treatment to get rid of this impairment except that it can be curtailed as it is an aging process.Now it is 9 months or so.it seems to be spreading to the other eye.Can this be cured in some way.I read at some places about laser treatment or steroids treatment for the same.Please advise.

YES there is treatment depending on whether its wet or dry type of edema either with laser or with special injections given inside the eye, please come for preliminary check up with prior appointment
