Question My mother has lost her right eye last 17years back due to glaucoma.She is
suffering from glauocoma on her left eye since 4years and her vision is
20%.Now she is developing cataract which is lessing her vision.Doctors have
suggested phaco.As her case is a complicated one we don't want to take any
risk.please advise,Thanks

If she has been diagnosed as having a cataract, it is safe to do this procedure in a good sophisticated set up with an experienced surgeon.
Also as it is recommended to do cataract in early stages when detected and as the risks increase if you wait.
