Experience
OF LASIK, We are one of the first centres to use the wavefront guided LASIK or custom LASIK procedures and the only center in India using the most safest,accurate and fastest excimer laser in the world- 'The Wavelight Concerto, 500 Hz laser'. Doctors from various parts of the world train with me and few other experts in Germany each year on our wavefront procedures. Our centre is the first eye hospital to be awarded the highest certfication in healthcare- the Joint Commission International (JCI from USA) and is also the referral centre for our Wavelight Laser Technologies, Germany in India.
We have treated patients from 89 countries and this list keeps growing as more and more patients are getting increasingly aware of the benefits of treatment with advanced technology in laser eye surgery.

Question
I HAVE LOST MY EYE SIGHT IN AN ACCIDENT AND I HAD DONE MY TREATMENTS IN PUNE HOSPITAL UNDER DR. GORANE. ACCORDING TO DOCTOR I CAN NOT GET MY EYE SIGHT BACK AND EVEN THEY ARE SAYING THAT ANOTHER EYE ALSO CAN'T GIVE MY VISION BACK BECAUSE MY VAINS ARE DAMAGED. SO SIR PLEASE TELL ME THAT IF THEIR IS ANY TECHNOLOGY TO GET MY VISION BACK?..... I AM 34 YEAR OLD. PLEASE HELP ME.

Dear Atul,
I am extremely sorry to hear about your situation. However the doctors in pune are right, so far technology has advanced to transplant heart and other major organs, but the eye is a very complicated organ with millions of neural connections to the brain and hence cannot be transplanted with any eye not even 'robotic'.
You must do your best to conserve and take care of the visiaon of the other eye.
