Question Res.Sir,
My relative was suffering from chronic Asthma,She used to use Inhaller,Now she had been told that she is having cataract. She is 37 years Young. Is there any Treatmet or She will have to undergo an operation? What are the risk factors involved if She undergo an operation?
Rahul
Answer Dear Rahul,
It is not unusual for someone so young to get cataract, yes, some medications do induce a cataract, but we cannot be sure why it has happened in your relative's case.
Once a cataract is detected...this needs to be treated when it starts affecting your daily routine however the treatmentis surgery.
The new treatment involves no stitches, is a quick painless procedure and also has the advantages of choosing new implants which suit her lifestyle.
