Question
Dear Sir,
I am 25 yrs old and has developed divergent squint in my left eye from the last one year. It may had been there from long but never got noticed by anyone or by me. I also have weak vision in this eye (-1.25) and wear lenses for that, however, even after lenses, my left eye vision is slightly hazy as compared to the right eye. I have been doing convergence exercises from the last one year but since the day I got to know about my squint, it has been increasing even though I am doing exercises and wearing glasses/ lenses all the time. It bothers me a lot as I was not born with it and not used to it. I wanna know if I can get surgery done in slight squint also and what are the chances of permanenet double vision after that and are there any other treatment available for me.

thanx for asking such elaborate and interesting question
Basically you have 2 problems one is glasses but even after that your vision is not perfect possibility your number not correct so we need to address that and i suggest LASIK surgery for that the other porblem is squint which also since you have tried convergence exrecises it has not helped so the only solution for that is also surgery only , once you come for complete checkup i can guide you completely and i am sure you wil be very happy after your problems are resolved not only cosmetically but therapeutically also
