Laser Eye Surgery/corneal scars

Is there any type of surgery to remove scars from the cornea due to ocular herpes? Thanks

Dear Gary,

one can think of PTK excimer laser treatment Phototherapeutic keratectomy).
However, this laser treatment is best for superficial scars.
hence, one needs to determine size, nature depth of the scars and then plan the treatment.
I suggest visiting a cornea specialist instead of a general ophthalmologist.
