Question I am doing a presentation about the Latino culture and i have a few questions
1. what do latinos want people from other cultures to know about them?
2. What are easy misconcpetions/generalizations made by people about Latinos
3. How does the Latino community feel about NAFTA?
Answer 1. That the latino culture has a very beautiful and ancient history.
2. Misconceptions are that latinos are lazy and that we live off of social services. Latinos are very hard workers and are always working to help support our families.
3. The majority of the Latino community doesn't know anything about the NAFTA agreement. The latino culture has always been dominated by forces from the outside dating back from when the Spaniards came to the New World in 1492 to the Political Hegemony of the United States of now. Latinos are forced to "go with the flow".
