AboutHannah Expertise I can answer questions concerning standard doctrines, scriptures, curiousities, Mormon culture and society. I will not respond to debates. I'm sorry, but there are some things that I simply will not answer, not because I don't want to, but there are some things that the LDS people do not discuss casually--it's only talked about within the temple. Though I am a member, I do not believe that anyone could convert anyone to a religion over something as impersonal as the internet. So I won't even try to.
Experience I have been a member of the LDS church for 8 years. Though I'm still a young person, I can answer most things about the church.
Question According to Mormon belief, is intimacy allowed
between an elderly man and woman ? if not are there any restrictions during courtship/dating? Both are past childbearing age. One is a Mormon member the other isn’t.Both have been married before.
Answer Intimacy in the Mormon church serves two purposes. One, to bear children, and two to create a stronger relationship. (True to the Faith booklet). I'm young, so I don't know from experience, but I do know that my Grandfather remarried after the death of his first wife when he and his second wife are in their seventies. I'd say that there is no restriction on this sort of thing.
Hope it helped. Ask a bishop for an official statement if you're comfortable. It's confidential.
