Question
Love Thy Neighbor

Christ said our war is not against flesh, but against powers and principalities, but yet we hiss and shoot fiery darts back and forth to one and other. Even in the context of simple curiosity or debate.

Why?

I believe in the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saint, its doctrines and its principals, I believe it to be a restored gospel as it is respectfully referred to by its followers and expressly believed ; however, I do feel that the arguments carried on from both sides are useless by any measure. This is self righteousness. It serves no purpose but divides Gods family . This is a snare, set by Satan who lies in wait to devour the souls of all God’s children.

This posturing back and forth is utter nonsense. Participants spew intellectual ineptitude back and forth-when in reality, this is vanity and pride. These are tractates either  party cannot afford. This is not Gods message, his is one of love and service and demand the same in return. For this reason we should refrain from this forum. If we are interested in another faith, let us investigate the old fashioned way, by visiting a church and attending its meetinghouse on Sunday.  Let us worship by the dictates of our heart.

Let us not think for an instant we know the mind of God. We are not God! we have all sinned and fell short of the glory of God, and it is only through repentance and the shed blood of Jesus Christ that we are saved. I implore all to come to the knowledge that Christ died for all mankind, our differences in doctrine should matter nothing if we believe in faith on Jesus Christ for our salvation.

Jesus came into the world not to condemn the world ,but to save all mankind, all nations, kindred’s and tongues. Outside of Christ, there is only death, the grave, and hell.

Praise God and his Son for their marvelous plan of Salvation. Love one and other, do good to one and other, and be of good cheer. Salvation is a gift. All we need do is repent, turn from our sin and let the shed blood of Jesus cover a multitude of sins.

I feel I speak for the church as a whole, in that any-and all who would like to know more about this church are welcome with open arms. It would be a pleasure to have your attendance if only for a day. Its just people coming together with the love of Christ in their heats to worship and praise the one true God.
This is something all believers have in common.

Sincerely,

Your Brother in the Lord

Mike

Answer
I agree with you Mike. However, I also feel that it is incumbent upon every Christian, regardless of their denomination affiliation, to defend the misrepresentations that exists about their personal relationship with God and Christ.

Satan rages in the hearts of man and by doing so, he leads many from the path. This is why I do what I do. I firmly claim the privilege to worship Almighty God according to the dictates of my conscience and I allow all men the same. Let them worship  as they choose, without condemnation from anyone.

All my best to you...

Brian Rogers
