About Hannah
Expertise
I can answer questions concerning standard doctrines, scriptures, curiousities, Mormon culture and society. I will not respond to debates. I'm sorry, but there are some things that I simply will not answer, not because I don't want to, but there are some things that the LDS people do not discuss casually--it's only talked about within the temple. Though I am a member, I do not believe that anyone could convert anyone to a religion over something as impersonal as the internet. So I won't even try to.

Experience
I have been a member of the LDS church for 8 years. Though I'm still a young person, I can answer most things about the church.

Latter-day Saints - Being non-mormon and dating a mormon

Expert: Hannah - 8/12/2008

Question
Heyya!

Right so This girl I like is mormon and I already know she likes me as well. I've gone to a couple of her church dances, church get together things etc. My problem is that shes 15 and I'm 17 and her b-day isnt for awhile. So should i just wait till then and continue to try gaining her parents trust by going to her church atcivities even tho im not mormon, or try to cut the thing off now before she gets hurt later?

Anyway hope you got an answer for this,
Tim toyoshima
P.S.- her names Hannah too lol =]

Answer
There's not an answer.  I would say, if you like her: wait.  If you don't: don't wait.  You won't gain her trust or her parents' trust by doing something she doesn't agree with (such as asking her to date before she'd like to.  It's about how you feel on this one. Good luck!
