thank for your respond ,i accepted Lord Jesus as my savior at home , he brought me to Baptist church , meantime i met JWs and LDS on the street , they both claim are the only one God choose them as restore the Church of Christ and the name of God. I got so confuse that asked my church brother, they said do not follow them , they are false teaching, but i still hang out both of them in difference time because i want to know which one is truth .

brother, when the gospel completed , God sent Holy spirit with us , protest and guide us to the truth help us remember what Jesus have said and accept him as savior. Therefore, event though man will make mistake or fall down, the gospel of bible will not ?
bible have gone through over 1500 yr with 40 difference people in the difference time wrote it down, the history tell us a lot of country leader want to destroy or change the word of bible , but God protect them for us, so could it possible God reveal a new bible to a man 1700 yr later after Jesus ??
if God will protect his gospel , why Joseph Smith brought out one more bible ? some important message greater than good news of Jesus ? Something not completed.(john 19;30) ???

brother, Joseph Smith commit a huge mistake , bible say Satan will be the false angel come to us in end time delivery the false message , who believe and accept this message will become false prophet, they even pretend God and Jesus ,but JS accept them as true angel without any testing ,we have to test every spirit in Jesus name . this is the only way to find out .

**Mike Replies: All or most churches claim to be the One True church. The BoM (Book of Mormon) warns us that in the Latter Days many churches will arrogantly claim to each say "I, I am the Lords" but of such are NOT the Lord's. They are only the Lord's if He chose them and they are teaching the true teachings of His gospel.

**Mike replies: The early Christian church did indeed have the full gospel back then, but due to the apostasy of the early church (that is repeatedly warned of in the Bible) and translational errors much of the gospel was lost... thus requiring a restoration later on. In many places in the Bible several books are referred to such as the book of Gad, the Book of Iddo the Seer, lost books of Paul etc. that are now lost. While the early Christian had the full gospel, much was lost, primarily due to the Catholics removing many things they bdid not agree with. This is a historical fact, even saw a documentary recently about this very thing.

**Mike: That was referring to only the book of Revelation (note it says THIS BOOK and THIS BOOK OF PROPHECY) as the Bible as we know it, did NOT exist as a whole book for several hundred years later. A very similar worded warning is mentioned in the Old Testament twice:
Duet 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
**Mike adds: You see, **GOD** can add any further words to His gospel as He sees fit, only MAN is forbidden to add or take away from God's revelations. Moses and many other prophets added to God's word after Duet 4. There is no rule anywhere in the Bible that says God will no longer speak or reveal. In Revelation is also a prophecy of an ANGEL having the everlasting gospel to preach to every soul. The Bible did not come forth from an angel.

**Mike: The Bible is only a tool of God, not the incarnation of God. Tools can break or rust over time if not taken care of. That does not mean the Bible is BAD or WRONG, only imperfect. The BoM is another tool. The truth of God, the Gospel is perfect, but such things as books written by man can be corrupted by time or men. That is a sad fact of life... but the truth can be preserved and brought forth again, and that is exactly what the BoM does, bring forth the same truth of the old Bible back to light again. A carpenter can build a house easier with more than one tool.

**Mike: Why not? God does not change... not even a shadow of variableness... so why not cause new word to be written later? Only be careful that the new word agrees with the old that we already know is true. Doctrine for doctrine the BoM matches the Bible and supports the Bible. Other works that man claims to be of God do not pass this test such as the Koran, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price etc. These not only do not match the Bible but go against it.

**Mike: God protected His Gospel by causing the BoM to be preserved... that is HOW He did it. God only protects the righteous. Many times God protected the Jews and other times He punished them. God chose Smith to translate the BoM and restore the Church of Christ (not the LDS) and while Smith was humble and righteous God protected him. When Smith became lifted up in pride and disobeyed God no longer protected him. Even Moses made mistakes and was denied entrance into the promised land. In another case a true prophet disobeyed God and was eaten by a lion (cites available). True prophets can make mistakes, and true prophets can fall.

**Mike: This is true and fulfilled many times... yet this does not prevent the POSSIBILITY of God choosing true prophets in the latter day. Remember God does not change, not even a shadow of variableness... and if God worked by miracles in days past He can do so nowadays. Too many Christians say God does not work by miracles anymore and put God in their own box.

**Mike: Correct. Remember when Moses turned a staff into a serpent and Pharoah's magicians did the same. Just because Satan has false miracles does not mean God cannot supply true miracles that Satan tries to copy. Now here I have a problem with the Bible version you are using, it is an alteration (corrupted) from the original.
1 Tim 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
**Mike adds: While it is basically the same, there are subtle differences, and over time and after many translations... the meanings can change. That is why the BoM was needed, to restore back to the original gospel. The BoM is not a "new" or "another" or a different Gospel but the old restored again.

**Mike: True true... but does this mean angels of God's true light no longer exist today? Is God dead? Should I believe in the living God of the Bible and BoM, or the dead God of the Baptists?

**Mike: Right! I tested the spirits and asked God if the BoM was true, and in a most beautiful and certain revelation told me the BoM was true. God also told me certain LDS doctrines (not taught in the BoM) were false. The LDS do not follow the BoM or Bible, they only profess it.

**Mike: Find me one single false doctrine in the BoM. I have read it cover to cover 4 times and studied it 1000s of times and not found one single doctrine contrary to the Bible. There are many false doctrines in the D&C and other LDS books but not one in the BoM. Yes Smith made many mistakes, but that does not mean EVERYTHING he did was false. The Apostle Peter made many mistakes and denied Christ thrice... but still he was chosen by God to be an Apostle. David had many wives and murdered Uriah yet he wrote the Psalms which had true prophecies of Christ.

**Mike: All "copies" from the Bible are either direct quotes from Isiah that Nephi had in his possession, or key doctrines that Jesus wanted the Nephites to know such as the Sermon on the Mount. Even then there are numerous subtle differences that highlight the cultural differences. The Nephites had no Romans, Pharisees, Publicans etc. so these things were not mentioned in the BoM sermon on the mount. This is actually an evidence for the BoM's truthfulness for anybody not predudiced enough to study it out for themselves rather than just relying on the hate LDS material the Baptists supply.

**Mike: I agree a false angel instituted Islam. OTOH the BoM strongly teaches and professes Jesus Christ as the only name one can be saved by. If you actually read the BoM you would know this. Now answer this... why would Satan author a book that so eloquently teaches the very true teachings of Christ? Jesus said a house divided against itself cannot stand.

**Mike: I fully agree, it is a dangerous time today because so much deception rules the world. Again, if you are so opposed to the BoM and want to turn me away from it... I challenge you to find one single false doctrine in the BoM. I made same challenge to 200 Evangelical scholars and they could not. There is plenty wrong with the Utah LDS Mormon church, but I am not a member of them, and the BoM is not their book even if they profess it. Catholics profess the Bible but most Protestants know they do not follow the Bible. Also think about this... if the BoM is a true work of God... would not Satan oppose and fight against it tooth and nail? It has been my experience that this is very much the case. Again I can provide specific quotes to back up everything I have written. Do not trust what I say, trust the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ, He is our only standard.
