Question
We now have a secretary in our Primary and I am hoping to research her role. What I know so far is that a secretary should mark our childrens attendance and record the minutes of the meetings. Can you please advise me on the full extent of a secretary's role in Primary or where I can access information for this matter?
I love you and wish you a good day!
Arohanui, Lee

Answer
The role of each member in the Primary Presidency is defined in Church Handbook of Instructions. For me, for anyone to expound on that role would be inappropiate. I would suggest you talk to the Primary president (assuming you are not already the President). If you are already the Primary President, search the instructions the Bishop or Branch President has given you. IF they have not, ask them for the Church guidelines.

Having said that, I am not sure that the duties of the Primary secretary is much different than what you describe.
