I'm sorry, but there are some things that I simply will not answer, not because I don't want to, but there are some things that the LDS people do not discuss casually--it's only talked about within the temple. Though I am a member, I do not believe that anyone could convert anyone to a religion over something as impersonal as the internet. So I won't even try to.
Experience I have been a member of the LDS church for 8 years. Though I'm still a young person, I can answer most things about the church.
I love Jesus and the father plus the Holy Ghost very much. My question to you is I had a rough teen life because well you know kids today are so cruel. I was teased for my race beliefs and abused in a sexual way that wasnt so nice I believed this kid thinking as my innocent my at the time that he wanted to show me something forced himself on me and I tried to get away but I was stuck I didnt know what else to do he threaten'd me and that was ungodly. I was scared an in shock. He said dont tell your parents or I will hurt you I was frightend and felt ashamed I felt like my innocents was stolen from me. I was 17 at the time I turned to God for help I cried in tears I said Lord have mercy on my soul please forgive me. I am a sinner. You were talking about the places in Judgement:The LDS have at least four, if not more: Celestial Kingdom, Terrestial Kingdon, Telestial Kingdom and Outer-darkness. Each of these places have aspects, and presumably different levels of glory within them. Those who "inherit" (meaning, "go to") the Celestial Kingdom are the very righteous who will, among other blessings, live in the prescence of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Those who inherit the Terrestial Kingdom were righteous, but they weren't quite there as well as those who were not really righteous, but they weren't really bad either. They will live in the prescence of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, but NOT in the prescence of Heavenly Father. Thirdly, the Telestial are those who were not righteous as well as some levels of wicked. They will live in the prescence of The Holy Spirit, but not in the prescence of Jesus Christ or Heavenly Father.
Fourth, Outer-darkness, which is a nice way of saying Hell. This is where Satan and his followers reside. Even if you have been resurrected, you can still be sent to Outer-darkness. However, Outer-Darkness is for those who deny the Holy Spirit or Jesus Christ when they had testimony of them, as well as those who commit serious sins that they refuse to repent of. I never killed anyone or disobeyed my parents I may have said white lies here and there its are human nature but I never lied again. I obey all the commandents even the two important ones love thy neighbor which is yourself and others around you and love God with all thy heart and all thy soul. I may have cursed to fit in with the kids in highschool at the time but I didnt like it it wasnt for me it wasnt lady like. So I havent done that in 2 years I feel great. I am cleaning up what other blemishes my soul has. I try to eat clean foods its hard but someone has to do it. I never went to jail or done a crime, I am a pretty good adult. I love my family and I love children I teach them the gospel and try to do good as well. I accepted christ as my savior I have recieved the annointing of the Holy Ghost on pentecost. I help the church and I do help clean up sometimes when I get a chance and I welcome people and I say Good day :-D I just try to be Godly as much as I can I am not perfect. Only Jesus is when someone curses to God I feel ashamed I feel like why is that person like that. If someone says God's name in vain I say dont say that about your father some times they say sorry but other times they dont care. I am agaist homosexuality, I am agaist gay marriage, I am agaist abortion, I am agaist fornication an sex before marriage, I am agaist cults and satanist, I am agaist just plan evil. Will I go to the celestial kingdom if you read my profile I want to be with my heavenly father I love him so dearly I put him first in every thing.
Answer I'm not God, and therefore I cannot judge. I don't think that you've done anything that is a horrible thing. If you've repented of whatever you've done in your life (which it seems that you have, God is a forgiving God. He's merciful, and he doesn't expect us to do everything perfectly. He knows that we make mistakes within human nature, and nothing is beyond what is repentable.
If you're worried about something specific, you can talk to a bishop at an LDS church (even if you're a member or not), and they, in absolute confidence, will help you. They're even protected by law in confidence as official clergy members. If it's not anything of a serious nature (white lies, getting mad at family members, silly little mistakes), you can pray to God for forgiveness, and if your intentions are pure, and you are truly sorry, he will not deny you forgiveness.
"Remember the aworth of bsouls is great in the sight of God; for, behold, the Lord your Redeemer suffered death in the flesh; wherefore he suffered the pain of all men, that all men might repent and come unto him. And he hath risen again from the dead, that he might bring all men unto him, on conditions of repentance. And how great is his joy in the soul that repenteth!" ~Doctrine and Covenants 18:10-13
No one is ever to the point that they cannot repent. In the Book of Mormon, there is a prophet named Alma the Younger (his father was also named Alma), who in his earlier years was among some of the most wicked people in the land, practicing "all manner of iniquities", but with repentance, he became God's mouthpiece, the prophet of the Lord. The same was true of his four friends Ammon, Aaron, Omner and Himni. They became some of the four best missionaries in history. Aaron and Ammon are some of the most spoken of "role models" in the Book of Mormon.
If they could obtain what they undoubtedly have in the next life, anyone can.
