About Hannah
Expertise
I can answer questions concerning standard doctrines, scriptures, curiousities, Mormon culture and society. I will not respond to debates. I'm sorry, but there are some things that I simply will not answer, not because I don't want to, but there are some things that the LDS people do not discuss casually--it's only talked about within the temple. Though I am a member, I do not believe that anyone could convert anyone to a religion over something as impersonal as the internet. So I won't even try to.

Experience
I have been a member of the LDS church for 8 years. Though I'm still a young person, I can answer most things about the church.

Latter-day Saints - Mormon Dating

Expert: Hannah - 7/11/2007

Question
I like a Mormon girl who is 15. We've been friends for a year, and I don't want to jeapordize our friendship.  But I really want to let her know how I feel. However I know Mormons are advised and told not to date till they are 16. Should I tell her I like her? and if so do I tell her before her birthday which is in a few months or after? Additionally should I ask her out?

Answer
Sorry for the late response.  I think that if I were a male in this situation, I would wait until she is sixteen.  However, if you would like to let her know how you feel and feel comfortable, I'm not a relationship expert, so I'd say that's up to you.  :)  Tough question.
