Experience I have been a member of the LDS church for 8 years. Though I'm still a young person, I can answer most things about the church.
Question QUESTION: I mean no disrespect to you or any one .Where on Gods green earth did you guys come up with this teaching of planets and being good enough.I find nothing in kjav indicating living on planets or being good enough. Please elaborate.
ANSWER: I'm sorry, I was assuming people knew things about the LDS religion that are not common knowledge. Sorry. Firstly, finding things in the kjv is sometimes not the issue. LDS also do not believe in the trinity, and I can't find any support for that in the Bible, but an awful lot of people believe it, even though it actually historically came from a council, not the Bible.
The LDS religion teaches that for justice to be satisfied and for us to live in the prescence of God, we must be perfect. God is perfect, and, as stated in one of our scriptures, "he doth not dwell in unholy temples; neither can filthiness or anything which is unclean be received into the kingdom of God; therefore I say unto you the time shall come, yea, and it shall be at the last day, that he who is filthy shall remain in his filthiness." (Alma 7:21...that's the Book of Mormon, by the way).
So, because we are not perfect, we needed to come to earth to know for ourselves how faithful we are, and to make the choices, but also we were going to make mistakes. And though these mistakes might not be huge, they still taint humanity. And as Psalms says, "Who shall ascend into the hill of LORD? or who shall stand in that holy place? He who hath clean hands or a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity nor sworn deceitfully." (Psalms 24:3-4)--sorry if I messed up some conjunctions or something, I'm typing from memory, but the idea is the same and no huge words that actually change the meaning are wrong...that I do know. And you can check me on it if you want.
So from this we see that only the pure can stand before God, because his glory is too perfect. Therefore, we must be perfected in order to stand before God, which means we must come to earth and endure the challenges (endure actually somes from an Old French verb that means "to harden or make stronger"), and be perfected in order to be in the prescence of God. So, we must come to earth. But we also must be purified. Now we're getting into Christ's sacrifice, and could go on for hours about that.

This doctrinal teaching arose from the heresy started and taught by Arius who was a 2nd or 3rd century bishop of Alexandria if memory serves me correct.He taught that Jesus is a created being.Which even the first century church did not teach.The council made it an official doctrine that God is one in the form of God the father and God the son and God the holy spirit.What is it that perfcts us?and how do you mean we must come to earth.coming to earth indicating that we were somewhere else before being on earth?

We are perfected by Christ's sacrifice. Well, yeah. Now we're getting to premortal existance. One of my favorite scriptures in the Bible illustrates this: Jeremiah 1:6 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee." Then it goes on to explain how Jeremiah was chosen as a leader of his nation. But God knew us each individually before life. We have always been his children. Where do you think the spirits come from if they weren't there before? (Just for clarification purposes)
