About Hannah
Expertise
I can answer questions concerning standard doctrines, scriptures, curiousities, Mormon culture and society. I will not respond to debates. I'm sorry, but there are some things that I simply will not answer, not because I don't want to, but there are some things that the LDS people do not discuss casually--it's only talked about within the temple. Though I am a member, I do not believe that anyone could convert anyone to a religion over something as impersonal as the internet. So I won't even try to.

Experience
I have been a member of the LDS church for 8 years. Though I'm still a young person, I can answer most things about the church.

Latter-day Saints - Truth

Expert: Hannah - 9/28/2007

Question
Hi, How do you determine truth? Is there absolute truth? What is it that makes that determination?

Charlie

Answer
Truth is revealed by the Holy Ghost to us through nonverbal and non-proof means.  This is not to say that proteins are not made of amino acids because we have proof of it. Science does not need to be wrong.  But eternal truth is revealed by the Holy Ghost.  Yes, there is absolute truth.  Truth, if not absolute, is not truth at all.  Just a game.  The determination is that the truth is one thing.  All other things are false.  Truth is one of those things where there are wrong answers, and only one right one.

Did I make my opinion clear, or did I ramble?  (I'm always afraid)
