Question
Do Mormon's believe in the paranormal, as in spirts, ghost.. thing to that nature, iam a mormon but have not been active in the church for years, and this is domething i have always wanted to know....Thank you for your time...Marie in vt

Answer
Yes, but not in usual worldly sense or Hollywood depiction.  Each of us has a spirit that continues to live after we die.  Satan/Lucifer also has a spirit and there are many other evil spirits as well.  Satan has a lot of followers because many spirits pledged their allegiance to him during our pre-earth life and they are not allowed to be born and receive a physaical body.  There are, of course, many righteous spirits and they outnumber the evil ones.
