Question Is it true you latter-day saints think that there is a Jesus walking the earth, and that they are looking for him right now? can you tell me more about this?
Answer Your subject line says prophet but your question is about Jesus.
We believe that Jesus has a resurrected body of flesh and bones similar to ours but perfected in a way that enables him (and also us when we are resurrected)to live forever.
We believe that he "visits" the Earth when and where he chooses.
We believe that we have a living Prophet leading our Church.
We are not looking for a Prophet or Jesus. Our Prophet is the man who is the longest serving member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. When he dies then whoever is the next longest serving member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles becomes the longest serving and therefore the next Prophet.
