Question Where did Det. Fontana get his money from? I seam to remember them telling but I don't remeber the answer.
Answer Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I had to check around with a few folks.
As far as I can tell, the answer was always fairly nebulous. He did mention once getting it from "friends" in Chicago, where he once worked, but beyond that it never developed. My thought is that they left it open to explore in future episodes, but Dennis Farina just didn't stay around long enough.
