Question As I go through my memory bank of L&O shows (L&O, LOCI, LOSVU), can you
confirm that Detective Logan (with a hiatus as Mr. Big in Sex in the City) and
Captain Cragen (from L&O to L&O SVU) are the only original characters from the
beginning of L&O. Is this correct?
Answer If you mean, are Det. Logan and Capt. Cragen the only original characters from the start of the "L&O" franchise still on the series, the answer is yes. As you note, Chris Noth (Logan) left and did "Sex and the City," while Dann Florek (Cragen) also left and returned sporadically before coming back into a regular role on "SVU."
You could argue that the voice on the series -- done by Steve Zirnkilton -- is also an "original," as it has been his voice on every episode since the start.
