Please You can Help me with That???
Thankx.
Answer Greetings --
"The Beat" was a short-lived UPN show. It was not created by the creators of "Law & Order" but I can see why you might have thought so; one of the creators was Tom Fontana, who uses many of the same actors as L&O creator Dick Wolf. (In fact, Richard Belzer's John Munch, who originated on Fontana's "Homicide: Life on the Street" and now appears on Wolf's "Law & Order: SVU" is one such actor.) There was a bit of L&O crossover with "Beat" -- namely in terms of writers like Eric Overmeyer.
But in any case: The composers of "The Beat's" theme were a pair of musicians who go by tomandandy. Their Web site is here:
http://www.tomandandy.com/
Their resume indicates they were the composers of the theme and score:

But as with many TV show themes these days, I don't believe it was ever released. It might not have even been named. That said, tomandandy have a phone number on their main web page (go up to "info") and you're certainly welcome to call and ask....
Good luck!
