Question The A.D.A. Kim Greylek said on an episode that A.D.A. Casey
Novak was fired for lying to a judge. I have watched that show since the beginning and I don't remember that.
On a personal note I do not like Kim Greylek for the A.D.A.
Thank You
Answer At the end of Season nine (last season), Casey got wrapped up in Detective Chester Lake's meltdown and contravened a judge's orders. She was called up before the disciplinary committee, and at the end of the season was on suspension. This season, when Greylek came on, a passing reference was made to Novak's losing her job over the infraction. (These kind of things aren't usually dwelled on much.)
For what it's worth, if you don't like Greylek, you have nothing more to worry about: She won't be returning to the show. Who will replace her hasn't yet been determined, but she's gone.
