About Erik Smith
Expertise
I am mostly knowledgeable about the "mothership" ("Law & Order") and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." I can answer questions about "L&O: Special Victims Unit" as well, but "Criminal Intent" is probably the show where my knowledge is the strongest

Experience
I've watched "Law & Order" since 1991. I've watched all the "L&O: SVU" and "L&O: Criminal Intent" re-runs on USA Network and Bravo. I own "Law & Order: Criminal Intent - The Complete Third Season (2003-2004)" on DVD.

Law & Order - show

Expert: Erik Smith - 5/9/2007

Question
I love when they have actual court cases on law and order for like half the show where that prosecuter tries to argue in court. Which set(of the 3) of law and order episodes feature this?

Answer
Hi Jeff,

"Law & Order" (a.k.a. "the Mothership") almost always uses this format, but "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" occasionally does also. Courtroom scenes in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" are less frequent, and in fact have totally disappeared since Warren Leight replaced René Balcer as show runner.

I hope that helps.

Sincerely,
Erik
