Question My daughter is thinking about a law career in the future. She will be entering college in the Fall of 2008 and is deciding between the University of Maryland and the University of Delaware. Do either of these schools rank higher for admittance to law school or is it the overall GPA that matters most?
Answer Dear Lori,
Your daughter’s undergraduate GPA and her LSAT score are the two factors that matter most in law school admissions. Both schools she is considering are solid schools. A 3.5 GPA or higher combined with a high LSAT score will enable her to gain admission into many reputable law schools.
