Question Is there anything to treat the lawn with to stop the burns from dog urine?

First things first,and it is just something I need to put out there is the obvious thing,stop the dog urinating on the lawn,or have him do it on the neighbor that has the perfect lawn.....I'm just kidding, him just kidding!
Seriously, I think the best thing to do would be to train him go in an area that gets little shade and that grass isn't that great to begin with (I hope you have one of those spots) and every chance you get or if you can everytime he goes, water the area very well,soak it down good. It will dilute the urine and help the grass grow as well.
One other thing is is the dog getting enough water? Maybe you can dilute it some from the source.Anyways I'm actually going to do a little research on this and if it doesn't work,ask again/w a follow up and maybe I can give you another answer....
