Question
In my yard I have a section of Centipede grass and a section of St. Augustine. There is a bare patch in between them.  Is it OK to let them mix together or is it better to remove one so that I only have one type of grass?

Answer
You have had these two turf grasses for some time; so I imagine that you have a 'gut feeling' about your choice.
It is all about looks and maintenance.
Here is a comparison of some turf grasses.
