Led Zeppelin - D'yer Mak'er

Expert: Mike Caldwell - 5/7/2008

Question
How, exactly, is the song D'yer Mak'er supposed to be pronounced?  I have hear so many interpretations!

Answer
It's supposed to be pronounced somewhat similar to "jamaica", as in "jeer maker".  It comes from an old stupid joke.  "I took my wife to the caribbean for vacation."  "Jamaica?" (interpreted as "did ya make her?"  "No we didn't do anything that weekend."
