Follow-Ups to Answer from Expert Mike Caldwell

The Bath Festival was professionally filmed at the request of Peter Grant. All but one reel of film was put in the camera(s) inside out. Meaning they recorded on the back side of the tape rather than proper side. The footage came out very dark and almost unwatchable. It was reported to be destroyed at the time because Peter Grant felt it was a disaster.

The rumor has always been there is a professional audio recording. Several years ago Jason Bonham has hinted at this and before the BBC sessions were released he speculated that the Bath Festival was going to be the release. Jason claims to have heard the footage and he was blown away.

The recent 1-22-73 Southampton multi track tape leads me to believe there is more professional footage in the vaults regardless of what Jimmy Page said after HTWWW and the DVD were released.
