Led Zeppelin - Rarest concert appearances

Expert: Mike Caldwell - 6/17/2008

Question
Hi - I'd like to see the top 5 or 10 "least played live" songs, along with the date(s) and location of the concert.  I know Gallows Pole and Four Sticks are probably on there, but there must be others. If covers/samples make the list too long, they can be omitted!  Many thanks!

Answer
Certainly not a definitive list, and there are many many other covers of segments of old classic songs, found within the "Whole Lotta Love" medleys of 1970 through 1972, but for brevity's sake, I won't list all of those.

"Out On The Tiles" - Los Angeles, Sept. 4, 1970
"Good Times Bad Times" - Los Angeles, Sept. 4, 1970  (probably the closest to complete) - less complete ones from 1971
"Blueberry Hill" - Los Angeles, Sept. 4, 1970 & Long Beach, 1972
"Gallows Pole" - Copenhagen, May 3, 1971
"Four Sticks" - Copenhagen, May 3, 1971
"Your Time Is Gonna Come" (partial, in a medley) - Tokyo, Sept 24, 1971  (super rare)
"Friends" - Osaka, Sept. 29, 1971
"When The Levee Breaks" - Only found in several early shows from 1975 tour - most famous was Chicago's Jan. 20th show
"Wanton Song" (same as above)
"It'll Be Me" - Fort Worth, May 22, 1977

Those are the ones that come to mind, and worth seeking out!
