AboutAmy Maloney Expertise I have studied the band for going on 30 years now. I have met the remaining members of Zep, along with some of their neighborhood friends and some of their family members. My knowledge about them is probably strongest in the area of biography, personalities, song meanings, influences, etc. I may not be well versed in various technical aspects of various recording equipment, instrument details, or any info on how to play the music, as I am not a musician. I am mostly a fan who has been reading about them, collecting, and has met them numerous times in the last 25 years. If I don't know an answer I have lots of resources and references to look up!

Question Well I don't know as I have a specific question at the moment but I'm a huge fan of Led Zeppelin as well as my dad who plays so many of their songs flawlessly.. I've never had such a rare appreciation for a band and to me it's so much more than that. I just truly think them and their work is absolutely phenominal. I would love to learn all I can learn about them and I hope to one day find a good biography or documentary on them. I would have loved to have had the chance to see them in concert or to just simply tell them how remarkable they are and what their music does for me. but I guess I'll go ahead and ask a question.. I know the remaining members got together for some sort of reunion/concert or something about a year ago and I was just wondering if that was the last time or if there was maybe a possibility of another show.. Thanks so much for your time
Answer Hi Angie,
There was indeed a reunion show that occurred last year, December 10, 2007, in London. The 3 remaining members of the band - Plant, Page, and Jones, played a "one-off" concert with John Bonham's son Jason (who is now playing drums with Foreigner.) The reviews were excellent, and it was touted as the biggest rock and roll reunion ever. It was recorded and filmed, so hopefully in '09 something will be released on DVD. There are rumours of more shows in the future, but no final word yet. Robert is still out touring with Alison Krauss until the fall. For the best up to the minute information on all Zep happenings, I like to check tightbutloose.co.uk or led-zeppelin.com.
I agree with your adjectives describing your experience when listening to them - rare and remarkable, indeed!
